On one occasion, we were lucky enough to witness the bellowing of the stag in the Oueil valley, a breathtaking spectacle that plunged us into the intimacy of the local fauna.
In Melles, young and old alike can take part in free activities on the trail of the bear. Between stories told by experts and the discovery of footprints, my children loved putting themselves in the shoes of real little explorers. Take the opportunity to make a diversion to the botanical garden at Melles, a haven of peace where Pyrenean flora reveals all its riches. We tried our hand at identifying rare plants, a fun and educational activity to share with the whole family.
