Les Rockquetaires are a Comminge rock cover band made up of Nicole Jones and Sylvain Bordes (singers), Thierry Fabre (guitar), Pete Severn (bass and backing vocals) and Christophe Jones (drums).
Formed in February 2024, the group gave its first concert in May at the Bistrot de la Pique, followed by concerts in Tarbes, Chaum and at La Guin’guetta/Restaurant du Pic du Gar in Marignac in August.
The group returns to Marignac on 1 March at 9pm for an evening organised by the Comité des fêtes Marignac, performing songs by Téléphone, Trust, Noir Désir, Axel Bauer, Gerald de Palmas, Daran et Les Chaises, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Radiohead, The Rolling Stones, Bruno Mars, The White Stripes, The Clash and many others.
